Hey guys, we've posted a new video (first one ) on our youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTzdxlZRsOGsJODV2A5Kk2g. We're working on the theme of the youtube channel and stuff, so hope you'll enjoy it.

Que mal que no sepa muy bien como editar los videos, sino; subiria mi partida.

Terminator porque no usas Ivideo. incluso youtube tiene su propia edicion de video.. podrias usar Blender (mas pro), pero es mas complicadio.. pero lo encuentro mas facil.. Incluso la idea de los programas se estan haciendo mas (user friendly) lo cual estoy en desacuerdo, pero deberias ver muchos como After Effects, que trae presets o cosas asi, asi que no tendras que hacer mucho, pero si quieres salir de las cosas basicas tendrias que aprender mas, asi que si necesitas alguna consulta o mi opinion sobre algun software de video me dices.. en mi recomendacion te daria blender, es mas facil y sencillo.

Se usar un poco Cinema 4D; pero para hacer BG's y portadas. De todos modos, a ver si puedo hacer algo si esque no sabeis abrir la demo :p

Primera vez que veo la extencion .demo XD no se como abrirla...

1. Enciende el PC.
2. Descargate la demo.
3. En tu carpeta, dentro de donde tu juegas al sauer (archivo sauerbraten) ahi pones la demo.
4. Abre el sauer y pones /demo

Life, I found it on youtube and recorded it with recording software, then just added it to my sounds folder and edited my sounds.cfg . Pretty easy

aahh thanks, maybe ill try this for myself, when i have the time

Maybe I can record my own "PizzAZZ!" kill sound > It might not be as cool, though.

Alright, so I made a new hit sound, and saved it as hit.ogg and tried:
replacing the hit sound in Sauerbraten/packages/sounds/free, but Sauerbraten says it failed to load it every time I hit someone.

I tried naming it hit2.ogg and editing the sounds.cfg changing "free/hit" to "free/hit2," but to no avail.
What am I doing wrong FaTality?   

Pizzazz, what OS are you using? I couldn't change my hit sound at all on my macbook for some reason. But if on windows, do this:

1. Put your new hit sound into any folder, and then that folder into your sounds folder. For example, mine is "/sounds/fatality/fatality.wav"

2. In your sounds.cfg, change the line 'registersound "free/hit"' to '//registersound "free/hit"'
Then under that line put the directory of your hit sound. Example, my sound.cfg looks like this:

//registersound "free/hit"
registersound "fatality/fatality"

Also, you can put whatever volume after that you want, from 0-225 I think. Mine is 'registersound "fatality/fatality" 100' .

If your sound is in your sounds folder and your sounds.cfg is right, it should work. And yes, I struggled with this a lot too . But it should work in the end.

Alright, I'm starting to question the time-to-benefit ratio here haha. So I recorded a sound (using Audacity) And have made a "pizzazz.wav" file, and Have placed it in a folder named "pizzazz," and have edited my code so as to comment out the original hit noise and add in the new one, as such:

However, in game it keeps popping up as failing to load:
"failed to load sample: packages/sounds/pizzazz/pizzazz"

Why?  

Alright, I did some testing, and I'm positive your sound is corrupted, as was mine on my macbook. I sent the one I had on my pc to my laptop and used it, it worked fine. I also made a new sound and tried it, it also worked fine. I made sure when I bounced my sound from Logic Studio that I bounced it as a wave file (and 16 bit, 44.100 sample rate, not sure if that matters), so try that. I'm guessing you might have bounced it as something else and then just changed it to pizzazz.wav? Anyway, it's your file that's not working, so make sure it's definitely a wave file and HOPEFULLY it will work.

FaTality... you're SUCH a... ... ... ... ...GENIUS! So I guess when I saved it I typed in the filename "pizzazz.wav" but didn't select the WAV format option thing. Anyway, I have it working, and will post a video once I make one! (Just a quick bot demo, nothing super fancy like yours... yet!)
